ATTENTION RESIDENTS AND CONTRACTORS:
Pennsylvania enacts new Home Improvement Consumer Protection Law!
As of July, 2009, home improvement contractors must now be registered and licensed by the Office of the Attorney General.
To learn more about this new law and what it means to you click here or visit www.attorneygeneral.gov.
Please Note: Cranberry Township is not involved in the enforcement of the Pennsylvania Home Improvement Consumer Protection Act 132.
The Building & Zoning Codes group is primarily responsible for building, zoning, sign and fire prevention permit review, issuance and inspection. Some of the key functions include enforcement of the building and zoning code(s), the Property Code and responding to citizen concerns related to such matters.

If you plan to burn, please contact the Township Community Development Department with the date and time at which the burn will take place. This information will then be forwarded to the Township's Police and Fire Departments. There are no fees or permits required, however, fires should be at least 50 feet from any structure and continuously attended until they are extinguished.
